I’ve used the Nest app on my iPhone for years but now as of this week, I cannot login to the app via Google. I click sign in with Google, go through the prompts and grant access, click continue and then it just takes me back to the original sign in screen. I have deleted the app, turned off my phone, reinstalled the app with no luck. I can sign in via a web browser without problems.

A few other customers have had looping problems like yours when trying to logon, and had to allow third-party cookies for home.nest.com and accounts.google.com:

I have no problem logging in with Google via a browser. It’s the iPhone Nest app that I cannot log into.

I wonder if the Google Nest app uses the settings for your default browser on your iPhone, and perhaps cookies are blocked for your default browser on your iPhone.
In other posts, it seemed there could also be an issue if you were logged onto more than one Google Account on your iPhone.
If neither of those help, you could try contacting Support:
1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.

I appreciate your help. I found another post that suggested turning off WiFi and logging in with cellular data. That did the trick!
