Cannot reach anyone at Google Nest to help

Ibastien
Community Member

We are having a horrible time reaching anyone at Google Nest. We are calling the 1800 number and they say that the line is disconnected! So frustrating. We are exchanging by email with someone but that is going in circles. Our thermostat stopped working after a year. It’s the winter where we live and there is no sense of urgency to help us. Our nest is no longer charging and everything is good with our furnace. I would really recommend not to buy a Nest! It looks like Google is cutting staff as well so support is probably affected. Considering cutting everything we have as this is so frustrating!!!!

Watch this video to check if power is correct on the wiring.

Also you can try charging the Nest with a usb cable and phone charger if its a dead battery.

If it is an emergency go buy a inexpensive basic tstat at home depot or walmart a non programmable kind for 25-30 bucks.
