Central heating

Hi all we’ve been having some issues for the last few weeks with our heating not coming on when it’s supposed to. It’s confusing because occasionally it has, other times it’s stayed off and also still doesn’t heat if we switch to manual. Also we had periods when it came on and was scorching, even though the thermostat was set to 21. We currently have the wood burner on now (been used a lot lately!) as rads are all stone cold but the thermostat says it’s 21 and heating. We keep the thermostat in a different room from the wood burner for obvious reasons. We’ve reset the system a couple of times and it briefly worked properly to our schedule, it was short lived however.

Any info/help would be much appreciated

regards

Colin

HI CDoyle,

Thanks for reaching out and we're sorry for the delay.

We could also check for the filters and drip pans on your HVAC. Check the thermostat settings > equipment > select the right heat type and source. This can also be an issue if we selected the wrong equipment settings in the setup process.

I hope it helps,

Ryan
