I am unable to make the connection work between the Nest Temp Sensor and Thermostat-E. The thermostat is functioning and connected to the internet. I tried to add the temp sensor using Nest App, Add products.
After scanning the Q-Code, a message appears stating the I need a Thermostat-E sensor. The Nest App is on IOS phone. I tried scanning the Thermostat Q-Code again, but that is already installed. Do I have to restart installing the thermostat again, It is a lengthy process.
I have bluetooth turn on my IPhone. Should I try to find if my Iphone will display the thermostat pairing, or is having Bluetooth on, good enough?

Thanks for reaching out and we're sorry for the delay.
Another thing to do is to remove the battery from the Nest Temperature Sensor for at least 30 seconds and make sure it is near the thermostat when you do the pairing. Also, turn on your iPhone location services and Bluetooth while doing it.

I have the same problem and I do not see an option to add a sensor to my thermostat
