Clear answer on matter support for Nest learning thermostat

I have three Nest learning thermostats in my home. Matter support would be a wonderful addition. I can't find a clear answer if the Nest learning thermostat will eventually support Matter. I know it doesn't at this time but is it planned, possible, not going to ever be added, etc.

Thanks for posting here in the Community forum. We're glad to hear you're interested with our Nest Learning Thermostat being supported by Matter! We don't have anything else to share right now, but stay tuned for more news and updates. Right now, we've only rolled out Matter compatibility for our newest Nest Thermostat released in 2020. This means you can now adjust the temp and change your thermostat's mode with multiple Matter-certified smart home platforms and apps. Please be assured that our product team is working non-stop with different partners to bring the best features to our Google Nest devices. So, please let our product team know about it by sending feedback.
