I would like to replace my Braemar thermostats (4 pin - Spectrolink, circled red below) controller with Nest thermostats. I heard that the existing connection won't work for the Nest.
Therefore, I plan to use the heater manual T/stats (go to Rh & W1) and hook up 24V and GND (go to C and RC) from the control board to Nest. Will this work? Refer to the circuit diagram - highlighted in yellow.
Thanks!

Is your current thermostat controlling both heating and cooling or just heating?
Your idea is sound and should work if you only want to control the heating. You will need to figure out which of the terminals has the 24VAC on it and which doesn't. The one with power would be Rh and the one without would be W.
