This a photo of the working for our Carrier Thermidistat TSTATCCPRH01-B. It uses wires R,G,Y/Y2,C,DHUM,S1,S2.
I’m having trouble determining whether it is compatible with the Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd Gen using the app. I would greatly appreciate any help from the community here.
Thanks,
Jonah

Hi Jonah,
Thanks for bringing this up here in the Google Nest community. We'd be happy to take a look into this for you. Based on the photo and the wiring diagram you sent, this is compatible with our Nest Learning Thermostat. The S1 and S2 terminals are dedicated for outside temperature, which you can leave unhooked on the Nest Thermostat. Our Nest Learning Thermostat can determine the outside temperature once connected to your app. You can follow the attached wiring guide.
During setup, you’ll need to change the function of the * terminal (DHUM wire) to dehumidifier.
Let us know how it goes.
Cheers,
Renz

Thank you so much, Renz -- One last question: Does it appear to you that this thermostat controls only A/C since there is no W wire?

Hello Jonah,
Yep — based on your current wiring, it can only control your cooling system. We're always here if ever you need help with your device, you know where to find us.
Best,
Renz
