Connected Nest Gen 3 doesn’t appear in Nest App

My Nest GEN three thermostat was installed a couple of years ago. It works properly but I recently wanted to revisit and revise the schedule and found out I cannot see the thermostat in Google Home or Nest App. I have tried resetting and reconnecting, but it will not let me re-connect because it says the thermostat is already set up. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

We understand the importance of being able to access and modify your thermostat schedule through the Google Home or Nest App, and we apologize for any inconvenience you may be experiencing.

To assist you further, we recommend trying the following steps:

 

  1. Ensure that your Google Home and Nest apps are updated to the latest versions.
  2. Double-check that your mobile device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Nest Thermostat.
  3. Restart both your Nest Thermostat and the device running the Google Home or Nest App.
  4. If the issue persists, verify that you are logged in with the correct email address associated with your thermostat. You might have been logged in at a different email address.
