Connectivity issues

so from reading posts from others with this same issue, that the unit is shot. •learning

•3rd gen

• battery level good

• won't pick up any wifi anywhere

•USA

•Tried factory reset on T- stat & router/wifi. Does not pick up anyone....it used to come up with at least a dozen.

Which is just awesome....

I spent $300 for a thermostat that lasted a whole year !

Thanks so much Google, now I see where the impressive earning numbers are coming from.

Guess I have to replace it & you can bet it won't be a nest! This is totally unacceptable for a company as big as you are & a ripoff to say the least. YOU should be replacing it not the customer....

I'll be in contact with the Minnesota Attorney General's Office to file a complaint & push for a class action lawsuit! Clearly I haven't been the only one scammed.

How ridiculous ! 😠

Hi maxpower,

Thanks for posting ― let's get this sorted out.

A few questions: what message are you seeing on your Nest Learning Thermostat's display? How far is it from your router? Also, when did this start happening?

Give these steps a try:

  1. Restart your Nest Learning Thermostat.
  2. If the issue persists, factory reset your device. Here's how: Restart or reset a Nest Thermostat

Let us know how it goes.

Best,

Mel
