Connectivity to wi-fi and internet

My thermostat used to work and connect well to the internet.  Now the thermostat says it is connected to my wi-fi network, but the app says it is not.  Can anyone help me?

This just happened to me two days ago.  After working with online support for a few hours this morning, I am still unable to re-establish a connection.
