Connector not click to power up my third generation thermostat to switch on heating

Hi I have recently moved and tried to reconnect my third generation Nest thermostat and connector on but not charging the thermostat that was wired in and not turning heating on via the thermostat

Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing some inconveniences connecting your Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd Gen after you moved to a different location in order to turn on the heating. I'm happy to help.

Before providing some troubleshooting steps to help you fix this inconvenience, please provide the following information:

  • What is your country of residence?
  • What type of heating system do you have?
  • Is there a wiring report or error message on your Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd gen and/or the Nest app?
