Nest won't turn on AC

My Nest thermostat won't turn on the AC. I've read through some of the other conversations here and tried some of the troubleshooting and it's still not working. I've tried resetting the thermostat to factory settings and I've turned off Auto-schedule. I've had the Nest for about 4 years and it has worked fine until now. The Nest is reading my temperature at 78 and I'm setting it to 72 in Cool mode. It's not turning on for some reason. I'm on software version 6.3-5 and Model 3.4. I'm not sure if this is a factor or not, but I have an upstairs thermostat and downstairs thermostat. The downstairs thermostat seems to be working fine.

  • What type of Nest Thermostat do you have?
  • When did this issue start?
  • When did cooling last work?
  • What type of HVAC system do you have?
  • Is this the first time you’re calling for cooling this year?
  • Could you please send me a picture of the Nest Thermostat's wiring?

Any additional details you can provide will be helpful.
