Thanks for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear that your Nest Learning Thermostat (3rd Gen) is beeping every 40 seconds and you are not receiving any error notification or battery message. Don’t worry, help is here.

Before we continue, I have some questions:

  • When did the issue first occur?
  • If the Nest Learning Thermostat (3rd Gen) was recently installed, what is the make and model of your heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment?
  • Are the power breakers on, and do you receive power to your home?
  • Is the thermostat's display seated properly?
  • Are all the wires of your thermostat seated firmly in its terminals (with no loose or exposed wires)?
  • Does the thermostat charge with a USB cable?
