Constat low battery

Christyleigh

Hi I'm wondering if anyone can help me. The boiler and thermostat was installed in April and been working fine for a few months but the thermostat now is in a constant low battery cycle. Even after charging via the USB it's still only gets to date and time are wrong and then the low battery the system is shutting down the charge up, but it never comes back.

The heat link is flashing blue ready for the thermostat to connect.

Hi Christyleigh,

Thanks for reaching out. I understand that your Nest Thermostat is showing a low battery message. I know this can be frustrating when your device isn't working properly. To better understand the issue, please answer the following questions:

  1. What type of Nest thermostat do you have?
  2. When was it installed?
  3. Do you have more than one thermostat? If there's more than one thermostat:
  4. Does the issue show up on the other thermostats too?
  5. Is the thermostat display on a stand?
  6. Do you ever take it off the stand to charge it?
  7. How do you charge it? Directly from the power outlet?
  8. Do you see a blinking LED light?
  9. Has there been any recent work done on your thermostat(s) or heating system? If yes:
    1. What was it?
    2. How long was the power off for?
  10. Were there any power outages? If yes:
    1. When was the latest power outage?
    2. How long did it last?
    3. Has the thermostat been off since then?
    4. Did the thermostat and Heat Link work before the outage?
  11. What are the power readings in Settings > Technical Info > Power?
  12. Is the thermostat display responsive when interacting with it?
  13. What troubleshooting steps have you done?

I will be awaiting customer response.

Regards,

Manuel
