Controlling thermostat while away

While out of town, our children are staying at our house. The thermostat automatically goes into eco mode while we are away since it senses our phones are not in the house. I need to be able to put it on the temperature schedule we established for comfort and sleep but the thermostat reverts back to eco mode. I turned off the presence setting but it still goes into eco mode. How do we fix this?
