I use a lot of Nest products so have recently added a thermostat. However, it is so much more fiddly to use than the Hive I use in another house. In particular, there is no way of copying a day and repeating across the week. There is instead a 'copy week' function but this is irrelevant if you only have one thermostat. Functionality like this is so obviously important - I don't understand why a massive company like Google don't seem to integrate user experience into the products. Any ideas??

Hi CarolineQ,
Thanks for posting. It's possible that the Nest Thermostat's scheduling functionality was designed with a specific user experience or use case in mind. The absence of a direct option to copy a day and repeat it across the week may be a deliberate design decision aimed at simplifying the user interface or maintaining consistency with other Nest products. Please be assured that our product team is working non-stop with different partners to bring the best features to our Google Nest devices. So, please let our product team know about it by sending feedback.
Best,
Zoe
