Current ambient home temp not on display

How do i set the app to show the current temp inside my home? I see the desired temp but no current.
I want to see the current temp inside my home when I look at the Nest App. I have tapped on the thermostat on my apps home page. When it opens all I see is the desired temp. If I roll the wheel to a higher temp, a current temp does appear. However, once I stop spinning, the in home temp disappears. I want the current in home temp to be as continuously visible as the desired temp at all times.

Thanks for your message. I think I figured it out, the indoor temperature is displayed next to the set temperature when it is far off, as that turns on the furnace. Once it is close to the set temperature, it is no longer displayed. I mistakenly tried to reply to your email...
