We have a Daikin FTXS18LVJU ductless heat pump. Is there a way to connect it to a Nest thermostat? I've read that some heat pumps can be connected by an adapter? Thanks!

The wall unit is not connected to a thermostat. It's controlled by a remote. I was wondering if anyone knew if it could be connected to a thermostat via an adapter of some sort?

Thanks for clarifying. Upon checking the model of your heat pump, it appears that it has a proprietary system which isn't compatible with the Nest Thermostat. You can also click on this link to learn more about this.

They weren't able to install it. Not compatible.
