How many thermostats can be operated with the nest Apple App? I am hoping to run Two in my barn, Three in the home and at least Two more at a vacation home; 7 total utilizing different WIFI locations.

Which Nest thermostat are you planning on using?

The maximum number of homes you can have in the Nest app depends on what account you use to sign in.

  • If you sign in with a Google Account, you can have up to 5 homes in your account.
  • If you sign in with a Nest account, you can have up to 3 homes.

If you are going to only us the Google Nest Thermostat you will have to use the Google Home app which has the 5 home limit.

All devices in each home must use the same Wifi name.
