Hi,

On the app or on Internet, the number of heating hours for the day before does not appear !

We have to wait for 2 days before reading this number !

Last year it was not the case

What is this bug and how could we fix it ?

Thanks

Hello ChrisNest,

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention regarding the delay in disclosing the number of heating hours on your Nest Thermostat. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

I understand the importance of having real-time information about your heating usage. To confirm, are you referring to the temperature not showing in the Energy History? Which type of Nest Thermostat do you have? Also, here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

  1. Try restarting your thermostat. This can help refresh its system and potentially resolve any temporary glitches.
  2. Double-check your thermostat settings through the app or online interface to ensure that there are no specific settings causing the delay.

I look forward to your response.

Best regards,
Mark

Restarted. No change.

In fact i can see the historical consumption on the day before on the NEST Thermostat but not on the app or on the home.nest.com website... It is indicated "no use" but if i click on the date i see the orange and white bands but not the total time of use !!!

to answer your question i have the Nest Learning Thermostat  3rd gen .... Display 3.4

Hi folks,

@ChrisNest, chiming in—if you're experiencing a delay in seeing the number of heating hours for the previous day on the Nest app or web interface, it could be due to a few different factors. Here's what you can also try to address the issue:

  1. Ensure that you have the latest version of the Nest app installed on your mobile device and that your web browser is up to date. Updates can often address bugs and improve the performance of the app or website.
  2. Sometimes, the app may not display the most recent data due to a temporary glitch. Try closing the Nest app completely and then reopening it to see if the heating hours for the previous day appear.
  3. Clearing the cache of the Nest app can help resolve any temporary data issues. Go to your device's settings, find the Nest app, and clear its cache.
  4. Ensure that you have a stable and reliable internet connection when accessing the Nest app or website. A weak or intermittent connection can affect the data retrieval and display.

Let us know how it goes.

I appreciate your help, Mark.

Thanks,

Zoe
