Google Nest Flashing orange and green and wont boot up when connecting to base

I'm on my third google nest and I'm at my wits end. I have tried charging the device, restarting it, taking it off the base and placing it back on. There is no visible problem with the wiring, the pins, or the base. I have contacted google help multiple times and their only answer was to replace the device. Before I do that for the SECOND time, I'm writing on here to see if any other users have had a similar problem and a solution.

Im having the same trouble right now but can't get google help on the line all numbers i have say not working or disconnected.  Driving me crazy as to how to deal with this and I live in So Florida I need my A/C to work with the humidity and heat here.  For what I paid for this nest thermostat it should work more than 9 months. Very disappointed in google right now.

Yikes! I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing difficulties with your Nest Thermostat. If your Nest Thermostat is flashing orange and green and not booting up when connected to the base, it indicates an issue with the device. Do you have the Case ID from your conversation with support? If you can provide that here, I'll look it up and see how I can continue to help.
