Does Nest Seasonal Savings override the Home/Away Assist heat/cool function?

It seems since turning on Seasonal Savings that the heat/cool via Home/Away Assist isn't adjusting the temperature.  It is showing when I've been home and away (in the Activity history) but when I come home the temperature isn't warming up like it did before I activated the Seasonal Savings.

Hi GGod,

Thanks for posting here in the Community forum. There are two unique aspects in case of Nest Thermostat; Nest Seasonal Savings and Home/Away Assist. Seasonal savings optimizes the schedule of the thermostat setting according to household requirements for cooling and energy use during seasons when demand is higher, sometimes nudging up or down the ambient temperature. The temperature in an occupied zone is also controlled by Home/Away Assist, it bases on activity sensors and where your phone is placed. It ensures that your home is comfortable as well as conserves energy when you are not around. Home/Away Assist might be changed in season savings while they are meant to reduce the hot and cold effects in people’s lives.

Noticing a substantial change in Home/Away Assist upon engaging seasonal savings implies that ‘Seasonal savings’ conflicts with both the modes. Activate the Seasonal Savings and Home/Away Assist and correctly configure them through the thermostat settings. Ensure there is effective adjustment of desirable temperature inclinations. For instance, you might be forced to put aside less for making seasonal savings and reduce air conditioner adjustments from your system. It may help achieve a balance of energy saving versus comfortable home living.
