E44 error message help

I've had this thermostat for a while now, no issues what so ever then i got E44 error.  That was at my old house and as i was going to move anyways i just reinstalled the old thermostat and moved.  When i moved to new one, same message popped up BUT when i put back old thermostat everything fires up fine...i do some research and i buy the nest power connector thinking it'll fix my problem... nope same message E44...again i reinstall the old thermostat back and left the connector in my furnace and things are running fine again... please help, this is beyond frustrating

no need for help.  I chatted with a live agent and that'd helped quicker than you.  It was my base that was garbage and a replacement is on its way.  by the way it was an E thermostat that wasn't working...
