Emergency heat

I just replaced  old System. And purchased New Heat pump imstalled HVAC tech told me I don't emergency wire anymore before I had 7 wires but now it's only 6 wires but When I setup nest Thermostat after factory reset under The * when I go to the Settings it says emergency heat wire is Connected but there is none connected called nest support the agent told me it's strange that is doing that had factory reset still detected * emergency wire can anyone explain please thank you

@Garo29 , please post a screenshot of your nest backplate showing the wires that are connected.  And, post the picture. Is your Nest thermostat a Learning Thermostat 3rd Generation?

So the * button was stuck for some reason was able to release it so now its all good 6 wire are detected which is correct thank you
