Looked at my energy usage for 27th Jan 2023.... heating system on for 2.5 hours. I immediately know this is wrong as it was alredy on at the start of the day for 2hours. Checking Home Assistant and it's showing as on for 5.5 hours total.

How can Google be this bad?

Hi there! I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you encountered, but I'm here to help. The message from the thermostat means that in those 13 hours, the thermostat was unable to connect to the internet and that's why it couldn't gather the information. Did you move the router or the thermostat from their usual places recently? Also do you have devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the thermostat?

So there is a cordless phone near the thermostat which I can resolve.

Shame the device relies on an internet connection to save simple data. Such a silly flaw

Hello there! I am so sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. The cordless phone might interfere with the internet connection. Try to move the thermostat away from the cordless phone and please monitor the situation. Let me know if the issue still persists.

Many thanks, Oana,
