Hey all I just had a new carrier system installed on my house a few months ago and has been working fine. I’ve had my nest learning thermostat for a few years now and last night during a heat wave the compressor on my unit shut off and I could not get it to start. The fan on the unit would run but not the compressor until this morning. I haven’t signed up for any of those energy saving programs that gives the utility the power to shut your system off but when I was younger my parents did and it had a similar way of cycling off the system the fan would run but not the compressor. Anyone else having this issue
