Established Gen 3 Thermostat Cooling Issues and "Delay" Message

My Nest Thermostat's were installed professionally a fews back as part of our electric company program to save electricity. Recently during the night the system would stop working and go from 70 to 78. The thermostat's look to be on in the house by the unit outside is not turned on. Most of the time when it is hot inside and I try to cool the house down, the Nest reads "2+hours" or I have received the "Delayed" message.

I have had an A/C company come out and they did not go touch the outside unit, but said everything was working fine. I have two Nest units, one upstairs and one downstairs on one A/C unit that uses a damper system. I am at a loss, sometimes it works and sometimes it does not? As I am writing this, my upstairs unit was set at 70, and now looking at the app has jumped to 78 and stopped cooling! WTH! Started back up and now it reads "IN 2+HR" I hope someone else will read this that has had the same issue and lend a suggestion or a solution.

Thanks for your assistance in advance.

It sounds like you have a 2-zone system that uses a zone controller. Look around the furnace/air handler and you should find the controller.

Post pictures of the two thermostats' wiring and one of the zone controller wiring here.
