Factory reset Nest - won't heat

Short story: I have a Nest thermostat attached to a heat pump that I had to factory reset (long story is below). After factory reset. I did NOT rewire. After re-installing in Google Home app, I'm not getting any heat. The fan works, but no heat. I changed from O to B in the app, still nothing.

Long story (if you're interested): First Nest thermostat installed November 2021 on my heat pump system (upstairs zone). This thermostat has worked fine for 6 months, both heating and cooling. I installed a second Nest thermostat in my home on 5/7 (downstairs). In order to get the second Nest connected to the Google Home app, I had to actually remove the original Nest from my home (in the app). Then when I went to re-add the original Nest thermostat, I had to factory reset. NOW, after factory resetting the original nest, it won't heat.

Wiring for the original (no heat) Nest is attached. Any advice?IMG_5340.jpgIMG_5339.jpgIMG_5338.jpg

Interestingly, I have been able to resolve the issue by removing the common (C) wire. Not sure why it was working previously with the C wire, but that's a question for another day.
