As in many homes, when the lower level calls for heat the upper level will often overheat, sometimes by 10ºF or more. This is very uncomfortable and causes excess fuel consumption. It would be very useful if the thermostat would simply turn on the fan when the upper-level sensor is higher than the lower-level sensor by a user-defined amount. In other words, "If T(u)-T(l)>X, fan on".

Please consider this for an upcoming release.

I would like to see this as a option as well.

In my situation the master bedroom stays about 10 degrees cooler. In the past, If I wanted it comfortable I switched the default temperature sensor to the master bedroom. However when I did this it overheated almost every other room in the house.

I found it easier to run the fan to equalize the temperatures and set the sensor back to the thermostat. This is a manual process though. :'(

If the fan would run till all the temperatures equalized it would save money and make  the house a more comfortable place.
