Frequently the choice between opening windows or leaving windows shut comes down to not just outside temperature compared to indoor temperature, but also what the humidity outside is relative to indoor. Just because its 60 outside and cool doesn't mean I would open the window with 87% humidity outside.
Its just annoying to have to open up a separate weather app just to see the humidity. If this was just on the main nest thermostat screen under outside temperature and indoor humidity, I could quickly decide in less than a sec wether to open up a window or not. Instead it take a couple of minutes.
