If you're comfortable changing your router settings, you can change your new Wi-Fi network name and password in your router's settings to be the same as the previous ones. Your thermostat should then automatically connect to the Wi-Fi and the app. If you're not comfortable doing that, you'll need to reset it using a computer.
If the Nest drive is successfully showing up on your computer, can you see a technicalinfo.PLIST file? If you get this far let me know and I'll ask a community specialist to assist with next steps, as these can't be shared publicly in the community.

That's great, I've shared this with the Google Nest community team. Just so you know, it may take a short while for them to chime in here with next steps.

Thank you David. I must say after done time I finally received instructions that was more clear. Angel in customer relations went a step further in the instructions was was missing.
After opening the folder containing the Plist file for the thermostat you copy the ResetToDefault file they send you to that folder.
For it would not work after many times doing the complete process until I realized after downloading the file and saving to my desktop it added a number to the name.
After removing the number it finally worked.
My thermostat is now reset connected to my new wifi and working great.
Many thank to you and the team for your help.
So to recap: copy or drag the downloaded reset to default file the the folder containing the nest Plist file
Make it has no added numbers in the name.
