I brought a Nest Thermostat E on 26/09/2022. Initially the display would not turn on. Found this to be an issue with the device needing a prolonged period plugged in. Downloaded the Nest app, plugged the thermostat in near to where the heatlink would go, but could not add the thermostat in the app. Display shows in image attached. I have tried resetting by holding down the the thermostat ring until it resets, and also 2 quick pushes followed by a long one. Neither of them work. I have checked all the settings on my router, which are all fine. Thermostat does not even show up in list of detected devices.
I have read every other post on here that has had the same issue, but no resolution apart from the faulty unit being replaced.
Anyone with any ideas?
