Geofencing Radius for Google Nest Learning Thermostat

I have read and understand that the geofencing radius for the Google Nest Learning Thermostat cannot be adjusted, but I have been unable to find any authoritative information on what the nominal radius for the geofencing "home zone" is.  I need to know how far away from home I have to go in order for the geofencing control of the thermostat to be of effect.  I am surprised that this info is not specified in the online product descriptions.

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Google Nest Community. 

The Home app defaults your proximity to the location using a radius of 200 meters. The address of the home and radius define a geofence, creating a circular area, or fence, around the home where your Nest thermostat is.
