Hello. I received a free Nest thermostat from my utility company some months back. Hooked it up upstairs, forgot about it - thought everything was fine. Today I went upstairs to grab something and noticed my thermostat screen was giving a "System Error" with the code N260. Looking this up I found that this error is supposedly triggered when there is no C (Common) Wire or Power Connector connected. The strange thing is that I *do* have a C Wire connected to my Nest thermostat. I tried shutting off power to my AC, disconnecting the C Wire and reconnecting it, but the thermostat is still showing an N260 error. When I look at my wiring configuration in my Google Home app, though, it shows a 24v Common wire is connected and my nest appears to be functioning normally via the home app. So why am I getting this error?

Just curious if you ever found a solution. We have the same error code as well even with the C wire connected and can’t figure out how to make the error go away.

Same issue here as well.

Hi Jco8301,
Thanks for letting us know. I'm sorry to hear that you're also experiencing this issue. To isolate this, could you try reseating the C wire on your Nest Thermostat? Don't forget to turn the breakers off before pulling the wire out to avoid system damage.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
Edward
