Getting N260 note

What is Note:N260. It is present since installed

Hi Davezz,

 

Thanks for reaching out here in the Google Nest Community.

 

You might see this help code for one of the reasons below:

 

  • The C wire isn’t providing enough power to your thermostat.
  • Your thermostat might need a C wire or the Nest Power Connector to provide it with dedicated power.
  • If you're installing the Nest Power Connector and you get an E297 help code, your thermostat needs an update. On the thermostat screen, select Settings Nest settings icon and then Software and then Update.
  • If you’ve already installed the Nest Power Connector, you might need to update the wiring info in the app.
