Google Nest Installed - Heat Pump - Hot and Cold Air while in heat mode

Just installed a nest thermostat. My air vents go back and forth between blowing hot air and cold air every few minutes while in heat mode. Any ideas on issues and troubleshooting?

Yikes! I'm sorry to hear that your air vents go back and forth between blowing hot air and cold air every few minutes while in heat mode. Sometimes heating or cooling systems can behave strangely. For instance, you may notice your system is always on, it won’t turn on, it turns off and on repeatedly, or it makes strange noises.
