Google Nest Learning THermostat installed a few months ago, Heat pump suddenly stopped working

Hello, We installed google nest learning thermostat a few months ago and also had our Goodman electric heat pump system and back up furnace inspected at that time and everything seemed fine. Thermostat has been working fine until yesterday, though the inside temp never seems to match what our cooling goal is. We have been in a middle of a heat wave with temps at 100, yesterday our heat pump stopped coming on even though the thermostat says its cooling. And the fan still seems to be running inside the house but heat pump fan is not running . I took off face plate and charged it as others had suggested, but that did not fix problem, fuse is not blown, shut off all hvac stuff multiple times.  Wondering it if is the thermostat now since the person who installed it was not competent with google nest but did not find that out until well into the install much to our dismay.

Any suggestions??

Try cutting it off until everything stops running from the app or device . Cut back on and set to lowest  Eco mode. Run this for a few hours then try going back to regular cooling.3668BA7C-3577-4741-AE9D-49A2746E2523.jpeg

Ok I will try keeping it on eco mode for a few hrs. We’ve already shut down the thermostat and hvac multiple times otherwise. Has this happened to you before? We reset our heat pump. Checked the fuse and it’s fine. Restarted the nest. And also charged the faceplate overnight.

Not until recently when we got a new hvac system. My old system worked fine since we got the nest a few yrs ago. The new one is a Goodman one stage outdoor unit heat pump with an air handler in the attic. The heating is 2 stage because of the air handler. The manufacturer recommended a NestE  but I don’t know why the learning nest 3rd gen had problems or how the Goodman differs from my old unit. It seems fine now but  anytime I see 2nd stage cooling or delayed cooling on my nest display I cut it off and go to Eco mode.
