The thermostat will work with my heating and cooling system without issue but will not connect to the Home app at the end of the setup procedure which I presume is when it connects to WiFi. We can use it with the manual touch controls but thats not why we ordered it. I have an AX50 TP LInk router. I have tried turning off 5GHZ but still no connection. I have also swapped it out for another unit, same model and I have the same problem. Not certain what else I can try. Thanks.

Sorry for the delayed response but thanks for posting. I want to check on this further.
A few questions — is this a first time setup or has it worked before on another network? Are you getting a specific code or message on your Nest Thermostat's display or on your Google Home app when going through the setup process? Also, have you tried setting it up to another Wi-Fi network like a mobile hotspot if you still get the same result?
