Google Nest Thermostat won’t connect to Heatlink

NicDalgy

We have recently had a new boiler (Worcester Greenstar) installed with a Google Nest Learning Thermostat and Heatlink. The Heatlink is wired into the boiler and the Thermostat is wireless.

The heat link and thermostat will not connect, I am stuck in the setup section. We’ve also had a professional take a look and tried troubleshooting. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

The first question is, the thermostat new or used? reason being if used it could be an unmatched pair!

When you are in setup, do you get to the screen saying searching for Heat Link and it fails? Should that be yes, do you see a screen with ''Reset Pairing'' - ''Replace Heat link'' - '' Tech info'' words like that? Again if yes, go into Tech Info, and look at Heat Link, and check the 6 digit code matches the one on the Heat Link found by the left hand fixing screw.

Hi there @NicDalgy and thanks for reaching out. I'm are sorry that you're having troubles with your thermostat, but no worries — help is here. Could you tell us when it started happening? Also, what country are you located in? Did you also notice any message/code showing up on your thermostat's screen?
