Google Nest a thermostat

Have just installed two brand new google nest 3rd gen thermostats.

The dial on one of them is stiff to turn and I’ve tried turning on and off the wall mount but makes no difference.
The other nest stat turns effortlessly and looking to see what can be done to fix.
