Google Nest hot water heating timer

  • You can only set the On/Offs schedule for Hot Water on the Hour and half hour.

You can select any time in the setting and when you save it goes to the nearest half hour!

I see no logic for this. I thought it would be made more flexible but it hasn't changed in 6 years. The schedule for the Heating as apposed to the Hot water can use any time.

Is it possible to implement this?

Thanks

Hey John_,

Sorry for the delayed reply. I wanted to reach out, and see if you still needed any help? Please let me know as I would be happy to look closer into the heating timer for you.

Best regards,

Yes please.

I did notice when I set the schedule for the heating system that now on the App you could

only set it at 15 minute increments (one the hour, a quarter past etc.).

If the same increment could be used for the hot water heating this would be better (15 minutes rather

than the current 30 minutes, that is on the hour and the half hour).

Thanks

I gave exactly the same feedback a couple of years ago but nothing has been done about it.  So I don't think much notice is taken of feedback.
