Google Nest not turning on when plugging in

Downloaded the app and followed the steps to get started, scanned the barcode and plugged in my google nest but is not turning on automatically .

is there a start/off button which I can’t see? The only button I see on it on the instructions is the sensor window .

Is this a Nest learning thermostat? If so Long press on it and it should start. If it does not , try charging it with the usb cable on the back.

Thank you, after I left it plugged in for an hour it turned on and not it displays a house into a rectangle with a update arrow on the top of it and still can’t connect it to the nest App.

It was probably discharged, can you please post a picture of your Nest?

I have charged it and is turned on, it displays a house in the middle  but is not connecting to my nest app on my phone , it says “ something went wrong” - we’re having trouble connecting to your thermostat, make sure that you’re close to it and that it’s plugged in. TD023 . 
I am closed and is plugged in , I’ve tried from different devices and same error is coming .

Are you able to navigate the menus on your Nest device? If so, go to settings, reset, account connection. You can attach pictures using the little camera icon in the reply textbox

 I might have to call a specialist to install it for me . 

 

Every time I try this is coming up . And then the image on the nest changes . I can’t access the menu or anything.
