Google Nest thermostat wiring

Hello,  

Need help with the wiring.  Hoping I can attached pics of  the wires from the old thermostat and the wires from the HVAC.  The Google help rep said I need a power adapter but need more clarification on the actual wiring

Based on the photo you provided, it appears your system is compatible with all our Nest thermostats. However, for the Nest Thermostat (2020 model) specifically, you'll need either a C wire or a Nest Power Connector.

Nest Power Connector: This accessory provides additional power to the Nest Thermostat (2020) when a C wire isn't available. It needs to be installed at your HVAC system (furnace, air handler, or zone controller) rather than directly at the thermostat.
