Hello everyone, I was wondering if I can feed the Google power connector from a external power source instead using the C connection I'm my TACO system board?

I have a C connection on my 6 zone TACO board but just 1, I'm worried to connect 6 power connector to one end and blow my board. (ussualy boards have a c connection in each zone but mine doesn't) thank you so much in advance!

Hi Sellmer,

Thanks for posting here in the Community forum. Some 3rd-party C-wire adapters can cause problems or damage your Nest Thermostat, even if they claim to be Nest-compatible. In this case, we recommend using a Nest Power Connector or install a C-wire from your HVAC control board to the Nest Thermostat base to ensure compatibility and best performance with your thermostat.

If your control board doesn't have a C terminal on it, contact a Nest Pro for assistance.
