Does the Nest learning thermostat have the ability to only use specific sensors at specific times to run the heating or cooling in the home? For example I would want a total of 5 sensors in the home - but from 10pm to 7am, I would want to program the nest to keep just the second floor bedrooms at 68° - essentially only using the 3 second floor sensors while NOT including the main floor or basement sensors or thermostat itself - until 7am.
I have had an Ecobee at my previous home and it worked very well with the sensors like I described above - and I would like to know if the Nest Learning Thermostat has this same ability.
Thanks
Matthew
