Nest Thermostat

Primdahl1977

We have a Nest Pro thermostat in the hall on the main level of our home.    During the winter, the basement is too cool.   What are potential solutions?

Should we add a sensor in the basement to improve the comfort level?   If yes, please provide make and model of sensor.

Thanks!

Primdahl

Hi Primdahl1977,

Thanks for reaching out to us. You can install a Nest Temperature Sensor to adjust the temperature from other parts of your home. However, this Nest Temperature Sensor is only compatible with the Nest Learning Thermostat, 3rd generation and the Nest Thermostat E. You can check this article to know what Nest Thermostat you have.

Reach out if you have any questions in the future. We're happy to help.

Best,

Zoe
