Gree Versati III Split

Hi, I am using a Gree Versati III Split heatpump; In the documentation I get shown this figure to connect an external thermostat:

Has anyone experience how to connect this type to the Nest Thermostat? Connectors 11 and 12 are only used for optional power supply for the sensor.

Thanks for any hint

Peter

Hi Peter23,

Thanks for the photos and for getting back to us.

Your wire label indicates an incompatible system.

These systems usually only work with thermostats made by the same manufacturer. But some incompatible systems may also have the option to use standard heating system wires. Contact a local pro and have them check if your system can be rewired to be Nest compatible.

Best,
Mel
