Green light blinking

Hi my thermostat is blinking green light and it's completely dead out of sudden. Tried to charge via USB but still not responding. Look at Internet they say software update is stuck and the customer service is not that much helpful. My concern is if this is a software glicth then either they have to fix and not ask me to buy new one. (just annoying how can they run away from the responsibility of of due customer care)

I have had the same thing for the past 2 days.

have tried to reset many time.  Charges up and still will not come back on.

I have unplugged and waiting till the battery runs down and see if that makes a difference.

USA. Worked with Nest Support (l1 & L2)  they are sending me a new unit.

They wanted to try and see a file on the device but it would never show up in Windows Explorer.

I am assuming they were going to have me remove a file and see if it would try and update again.

Jake,

I have a similar situation with a new Nest Learning thermostat. It was showing a low battery, so I assumed it was the lack of a  C-wire and USB charged overnight with a cord and charger that I'm certain works. The unit blinks green whenever plugged in to the USB charger and never stops blinking until unplugged. It does not blink green when plugged into the base, but then the battery remains low because of the c-wire issue. What's the best thing for me to do. What is the correct contact for a possible replacement?
