HOME APP SHOWS WEIRD USAGE (AND LEAFS)

We've had our Nest thermostat for about six weeks.  

It works great, but the Home app is displaying weird numbers (e.g. - it shows a TOTAL of 2 hours and 13 minutes usage for the ENTIRE month of August.  It also shows ZERO Leafs earned though the Google Nest email shows 57 Leafs.

Also, according to the Home app, ALL our Usage occurred during the first few days we had the Nest. Zero in the 5 weeks since.

We know both numbers are way off (we live in the south, and it's HOT), yet the temps in the house are within the 70-73 range we set.

The Home app is working otherwise - we can use it to change the temps, and it does show all the wiring, etc. For our thermostat.

What the heck is wrong?

We're sorry to hear about what's happening and we'd like to try some steps here to help you further. 

 

Check if the Nest Thermostat is not disconnecting from your Wi-Fi. You could also restart it by following the steps here. On the Google Home app, try to log out and log back in again using the same email address. This way, we'll be able to refresh the connection of the app to the server.

Thanks for responding!

We have tried that.  We've also tried uninstalling Home, and then reinstalling it.

Had no effect on this issue.

Perhaps this issue is related to the other Home issue (devices working perfectly, but showing as Offline in Home?).
