Heat Cool Settings on Nest E

Hi, couple questions using the Heat Cool Settings on my Nest E.

1) if I set my Heat Cool temp to 68 and 76 and the house temperature exceeds 76 how long will the air condition remain on for? Is it going to cool the house to 68?

2) I've noticed that my heat cool temps change on my app after I've set it on the thermostat. Anyone else notice this?

At the settings, your heat will turn on if your house becomes cooler than 68°. Your AC will turn on if your house becomes warmer than 76°.
